பட்டம் பறக்குது – Pattam Parakuthu Rhyme Tamil Lyrics
பட்டம் பறக்குது !
பள்ளிக்கூடம் திறக்குது !
கொத்தனாரு வீட்டிலே !
கொய்யா பழம் பழுக்குது !
Lyrics in English:
Pattam Parakuthu !
Pallikudam thirakutu !
kothanaru Veetila !
Koia Palam Paluikutu !
Pattam Parakuthu Meaning
“The kite (pattam) is flying! The school (pallikoodam) is opening! In the mason’s (kothanar) house, the guava (koyya pazham) is ripening!”
A short, happy rhyme that children sing when the new school year starts. Hold your arms out and sway like a kite on the first line, and pretend to pick a guava on the last.
