Patti Amma Kadaile Meaning
This is the old story of the crow and the fox, in four short lines each. Grandma (paattiyamma) was frying paruppu vadai at her shop. A crow came flying in between and snatched one vadai in its beak.
Then brother fox (nariyanna) came along and asked the crow to sing him a song. The silly crow opened its beak to sing, the vadai fell down, and the fox picked it up and ran off!
Ask your child at the end: what should the crow have done? It is a fun way to talk about not falling for sweet words.
