Appa Ennai Azhaithu Sendrar Meaning
“Appa took me to a place.” There the cuckoo and the peacock danced around, and the wicked fox and the civet cat stood still. There were baby deer and a giraffe too. A monkey kept looking at me and chattered, an elephant stood flapping its ears, a crocodile lifted its head and let out a breath, and a bear growled and raised its paw.
A leopard glared at us angrily and a lion stood very close by. “I saw the bear, the lion and the tiger, but I was not scared one bit. I stood there like a hero.” And the place? “Can you not guess? It was only the zoo (mirugak kaatchi saalai)!”
