Akkad Bakkad Bambe Bo Meaning
This is the counting-out rhyme children use to pick who is “it” in a game. “Akkad bakkad bambe bo” are just fun sounds. Then “eighty, ninety, a full hundred (assi nabbe poore sau)! A thread (dhaaga) got stuck in the hundred, and the thief (chor) ran away!”
Children stand in a circle and one child points to each one, a word at a time. Whoever is pointed at on “bhaaga” is out, or becomes the chor who has to catch the others.
