Aaha Tamatar Meaning
The poem is all about how good tomatoes are. “Aaha tamatar bade mazedar” means “Oh, tomatoes are so tasty!”
In each verse someone small eats a tomato and suddenly becomes strong enough to beat someone much bigger. The mouse (chuha) eats one and chases away the cat (billi). The ant (cheenti) eats one and knocks out the elephant (haathi). In the last verse Patlu eats one and beats Motu, which makes children laugh because they know the two from the cartoon.
It is a nice way to get kids to try tomatoes. Ask them who they want to beat after eating one!
