Aaj Itwar Hai Meaning
“Today is Sunday (itwar), and the parrot (tota) has a fever (bukhar)! The parrot went to the doctor, the doctor gave him an injection (sui), and the parrot cried: ooi, ooi, ooi!”
In the second version, “today is Sunday, and it is the mouse’s wedding procession (chuhe ki baraat)!” Children love to cry “ooi ooi ooi” together at the end.
