“In front of Seethamma’s house (vaakili) there is a jasmine plant (sirimalle chettu), and it is covered in flowers! Bend the branch gently so the plant doesn’t shake, pick the flowers and fill the basket (butta).”
“String the big flowers into a garland (danda), take it and give it to Seetha. Take it, Seethamma, please take it! If you don’t, someone will steal it: there are thieves (dongalu) at the back door (doddi gummam)!”
