Nannaya Buguri Meaning
“My spinning top (buguri), my colourful top, the top that hums guru guru! Wind the string (jaalige) round it, lift your hand and throw it, and it spins round and round.”
“The fun top that tickles (kachaguli), it brings the rainbow (kaamana billu) down to the earth as it spins gara gara!” Children can spin like a top with their arms out as they sing.
