Puttadondu Sletu Meaning
A school rhyme. “A little slate (sletu), a line drawn with the slate pencil (balapa). If you can’t write, you get a smack on the hand (hetu)!”
“The coin (kaasu) Appa gave, the snack (tindi) Amma gave. In front of the school there’s a gate: if you fall there, you get a bump!” Sing it on the way to school.
